Civilians transferred to liberated areas in Raqqa
The second stage in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates launched to liberate Raqqa on November 5, continues. A number of civilians were transferred to freed areas as part of the operation.
The second stage in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates launched to liberate Raqqa on November 5, continues. A number of civilians were transferred to freed areas as part of the operation.
Operation Wrath of Euphrates fighters continue making advances within the scope of the plan they have prepared for the military campaign to liberate the Raqqa city from ISIS.
During the last three days of cashes, 16 villages, dozens of hamlets and strategic hills have been cleansed of ISIS groups, 23 ISIS members were killed and 3 others were taken captive, one of whom surrendered together with his family.
An area of 22 km has been cleansed of ISIS groups during these three days.
Fighters partaking in the operation are paying utmost attention to make sure that civilians do not get hurt. Most of the mines laid by the gangs on roads and in villages have been removed. The mop-up operation in the area is also ongoing.
Civilians are taking shelter in the areas liberated by Operation Wrath of Euphrates fighters.
