YPG (People's Protection Units) has reported in a written statement that the operation of YPJ/YPG fighters in the south and southwest of Serêkaniyê is continuing.

The statement said YPG/YPJ are advancing in the region as fierce clashes with heavy weaponry are going on in and around the village of Resim El Hecir.

YPG added that 2 fighters of their forces have lost their lives after sustaining an injury during clashes yesterday evening.
