Clashes between western Kurdistan's People's Defense Units (YPG) and radical Islamist groups are continuing in the regions of Çilaxa, Serêkaniyê, Tirbespiyê and Aleppo.

Reports of recent clashes from the region are as follows;

TAL ABYAD: YPG carried out an attack targeting a military vehicle of the groups near the Mahmudiye village, 15 km in the south of Tal Abyad. The vehicle was destroyed with five gang members inside it.

ÇİLAXA: Militants of the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham) and the al-Nusra Front carried out an artillery attack against the villages of Mizerta and Qirewan in Girkê Legê's Çilaxa region on Saturday evening.

In response to the attacks, YPG fighters raided the gang groups' headquarters in Girhok's Yusufiye village at around 4 a.m. early Sunday. Dozens of gang members were killed and many others were wounded in the raid. After suffering heavy losses in the YPG attack, the gang groups have gathered their groups, those in Dera Zore, Heseke, Şedade û Reqa, in this region.

TİRBESPİYÊ: Clashes broke out in the village of Beyaze which has been attacked by al-Qaeda linked groups deployed in Mihemed Diyab and Xerdûka villages, in the south of Tirbespîyê (al-Qahtaniye). Strongly responding to the attack, YPG fighters repulsed the gang groups from the village. Clashes are resported to be continuing in some areas of the region.

SERÊKANİYÊ: Radical Islamist groups have launched an attack against the Çav and Elok villages early in the morning. Clashes are continuing in the region with YPG displaying a strong resistance against the gang groups.

ALEPPO: Al-Qaeda affiliated groups have launched an artillery attack which targeted the Ashrafieh and Sekine Şebabî neighborhoods and has reportedly left one civilian wounded.

Clashes are continuing in Til Koçer.
