Clashes going on in western Kurdistan

Clashes are going on between YPG (People's Defense Units) fighters and al-Qaeda affiliated gang groups attacking the Kurdish region in Syria, western Kurdistan.

TAL ABYAD: Eleven members of the armed gang groups were killed by YPG fighters near the villages of Bikino and Celbe, near Tal Abyad (Girê Spî), on Wednesday evening. Four among them were killed in the cars YPG shot at and destroyed, while seven others were killed after coming to the scene for help. Clashes in the region are continuing.

TİL KOÇER: Clashes between YPG and ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham) have intensified in the villages of Sididiye and Mişrefa, of Til Koçer. Many gang members have reportedly been killed in clashes going on since Wednesday.

GİRKÊ LEGÊ: Clashes are continuing in Girkê Legê region since the attack armed groups carried out targeting the villages of Girhok and Yusufiye. Many members of the gang groups were reported killed in fierce clashes on Wednesday, while five others were detained alive by YPG fighters who also seized a vehicle carrying antiaircraft weapons.

TİL ÎD: Clashes between YPG and armed groups are going on in the Kurdish villages of Til Îd, Becariyê, Uweniyê, Xirab Esker, Boladiyê and Rihêba Zahir since the jihadist groups attacked the region, near Qamişlo city, two days ago. After taking the control of Uwêniyê village, YPG fighters also repulsed the groups from some other areas near the village.

SERÊKANIYÊ: Four members of the Islamist groups were killed in clashes which broke out in an area between the Kişto village and Til Xelef (Tel Halaf) on Wednesday and lasted two hours.
