The ‘October 10 Ankara Massacre Case Lawyers’ Commission’ called for participation in the hearing to be held on June 9 in Ankara.
The ‘October 10 Ankara Massacre Case Lawyers’ Commission’ released a written statement regarding the hearing of the case to be held on June 9. The commission said that the massacre in 2015 is not independent of the dirty relations between the mafia, politics, bureaucracy and the media. The commission called for participation in the hearing to take place at the Ankara 4th High Criminal Court.
The statement said, "For the last five years, we have been saying that the perpetrators of the massacre are not only the ISIS members who stand trial since public officials and politicians also have a hand in the realization of the massacres for their own interests and protect the perpetrators of the massacre. The documents and evidence in the case, consisting of more than 200 folders, reveal that both the October 10 Ankara massacre and all the massacres that took place at that time were not prevented on purpose.
'CRIMES WILL CONTINUE IF THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY'
"If there is no accountability, the people who take part in this network of dirty relations will continue to commit all kinds of organized crimes, from drugs to oil trade, from arms and human smuggling to massacres. Therefore, we urge the public to attend the hearing to be held in Ankara at 10:00 on June 9, 2021, in order to prevent new massacres and to expose the real perpetrators of the massacres in 2015 and ensure their prosecution.”
