The Revolutionary Communist Movement, the Revolutionary Communist Women and the Revolutionary Communist Youth issued a common statement about the Turkish occupation of Rojava: "This attack is unacceptable and we will resist."

Three communist organizations made a joint written statement saying: "The occupation attack carried out by the invading Turkish state and its mercenaries on the territory of Rojava since 9 October continues. This occupation is aimed at destroying North and East Syria."

The three organisations vowed to "resist against this unacceptable destruction attack."

The statement added: "The only foundation and power that we can trust is the organized power of our peoples and the resistance against the occupation. An occupation aimed at crushing the struggles that believe that another world is possible. The basic task of all revolutionary, communist, democratic and progressive people is to take action against this occupation attack which aims at strangling the Rojava revolution."
