Kurdish people living in Athens will be protesting the February 15 conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The People’s Assembly in Greece has organized a series of events for this purpose.
The People’s Assembly organized and publicized a three day-long march, a panel and a protest in front of the Turkish Embassy to protest the conspiracy on its anniversary.
A three day-long event will begin in Lavrion on February 12 and protestors will meet with mayors and other state officials to discuss the conspiracy and the current conditions of Öcalan.
Moreover, politicians and lawyers from Greece and Kurdistan will speak at a panel to be held on February 14. Many parliamentarians from Greece and the HDP, and the lawyers of the Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan in Greece and Turkey have been invited to the panel.
On the last day of the events, protestors will march to the Greek parliament and finally to the Turkish Embassy in Athens on February 15.
The People’s Assembly in Greece has called upon all Kurds to actively participate in the events.
