The Constitutional Court (AYM) will discuss the request by the HDP that the closure case should be postponed until the 2023 elections are over.
The Constitutional Court (AYM) will tomorrow (Wednesday) discuss the request by the People's Democratic Party (HDP) to postpone the closure case until after the elections.
HDP co-chairperson Mithat Sancar said: "The AYM should suspend all procedures related to the party's closure case. The elections should normally take place on 18 June 2023. According to leaked information and statements coming from the government, there is now speculation about whether the elections could be held on 14 May 14. The government clearly intends to use this case as a tool to blackmail the HDP."
