Court says no to release of former HDP co-chair Yüksekdağ
The request for the release of HDP former co-chair, Figen Yüksekdağ, was rejected saying that this was the "Final decision".
The request for the release of former the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ was rejected.
Yüksekdağ has been arrested following an investigation on some incidents which ocurred on 6 and 8 October 2014 over the attacks against Kobanê.
The rejection ruling said that, on 2 April, Ankara 4th Criminal Criminal Court of Peace decided against the release of Demirtaş and Yüksekdağ.
In the decision prepared by Ankara's 5th Magistrate Criminal Judge on 15 April, it was said that the document was examined by the Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office with "the file sent to our prosecutor's office numbered 2014/146757 to investigate the objection since the objection was not examinated at the time."
