The Governor’s office in Amed (Diyarbakır), where protests continued all night, has extended the curfew in the city until tomorrow, including 8 more districts within the scope of the ban.

In Amed yesterday, where solidarity actions with Kobanê continued all day, the Governor imposed a curfew in the city, in the urban districts of Bağlar, Kayapınar, Sur and Yenişehir, and in the districts of Bismil, Silvan and Lice in the evening.

The Governor has now announced that the curfew has been extended until 06:00 on Thursday 9 October, and broadened to include the districts of Çınar, Eğil, Ergani, Dicle, Hani, Hazro, Kocaköy and Kulp.
