The indefinite alternating hunger strike in Strasbourg continues on day 5.
Activists stayed in Freiburg, Germany yesterday and held a memorial service in the evening for the Heroism Week and Hozan Seyitxan gave a concert.
Activists headed to Strasbourg at 09:30 in the morning and arrived in front of the European Parliament. The protest is organized in the form of a 5-day alternating hunger strike and the EP building is closed on weekends, so the it will conclude this evening to be continued on Monday.
Women and youth held a sit-in and protested the EP. A “chain of life” was formed by women later, and the women turned to the EP building and chanted “Biji Serok Apo", "Be Serok Jiyan Nabe", "Speak Out For Hunger Strikes, Stop The Deaths”.
A mass march is planned for later in the day towards Strasbourg Place Klaber, which hunger strikers will also attend. Visits will also continue throughout the day.
The 5-day mass hunger strike protest will continue on Monday in front of the Council of Europe.
