Thousands of people gathered for the DBP conference held with the slogan "Let's establish a free life with an organized society".
Before the 6th Extraordinary Congress to be held in Ankara on 12 November, the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) is organizing a big conference with the slogan "Let's establish a free life with an organized society" in the borough of Bağlar (Rêzan) in Amed. Thousands of people came together for the conference where the DBP will announce its position document for the new period.
Kurdish banners reading "Jin jiyanê rêxistin dike (Women are organizing life)" and "Em ê bi civaka rexîstinbûyi jiyana azad ava bikin (We will establish a free life with an organized society)" were hung in the hall decorated with party flags.
In the early hours of the morning, thousands of people from both the city and surrounding regions flocked to the hall where the conference would be held.
Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair Berdan Öztürk, People's Equality and Democracy Party (HEDEP) co-chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları Oruç and Tuncer Bakırhan, Socialist Reestablishment Party (SYKP) co-chair Canan Yüce and many politicians and civilians will also attend the conference.
