DBP (Party of Democratic Regions, formerly BDP) Dersim former co-chair Ergin Doğru has been arrested in İstanbul and sent to prison.

Doğru has been taken into custody in Taksim today following the affirmation by Supreme Court of 2 year prison sentence given by a local court for allegedly “spreading propaganda for an outlawed organisation”.

The former co-chair was arrested at the Courthouse he had been referred to, and sent to prison.
