The death toll for coronavirus in Turkey rose to 92 today, Friday, said Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.

The Health Minister also said that the number of confirmed cases increased by 2,069, bringing the total number to 5,698.

According to the minister, 17 more people died due to COVID-19 on Friday and 42 patients have recovered from the coronavirus so far.

The minister also added that 7,533 tests had been conducted in the last 24 hours.

On Thursday 16 people died, bringing the death toll to 75.
