As the armed intervention of the regime forces continues against demonstrations that erupted across East Kurdistan and Iran after the murder of Mahsa (Jina) Amini in Tehran, the provinces of Sistan and Balochistan have faced the deadliest incidents. The death toll in the massacre that took place in Zahidan on Friday, September 30, keeps surging.
The Baloch Activists Campaign reported that the number of people who lost their lives during the massacre dubbed "Bloody Friday" had risen to 88, while more than 300 people had been injured.
The group said that the numbers and identity information they released were obtained as a result of their own research, adding that they estimated the number of people killed during the "Bloody Friday" to be higher.
