Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu reported that death toll has risen to 38 in last night's bombing in Istanbul. According to the minister, 30 of those killed in the blast are policemen.

On the other hand, there are 136 people hospitalized with injuries after the bombing and 14 of these are reported to be in critical condition.

In the meantime, 13 people were reportedly detained in connection with the bombing.
