The Hamas Health Ministry said on Sunday that the death toll from Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip since 7 October has risen to 32,226.

According to the ministry's press release, 74,518 people have been wounded in the more than five-month-long war and 84 people have died in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, disagreements over the ceasefire continue. On Saturday, a Hamas official said there were "deep differences" with Israel over the ceasefire in Gaza, the return of displaced persons and the management of humanitarian aid, AFP reported.

There has been no official Israeli statement yet on the resumption of negotiations through American, Qatari and Egyptian mediators in Doha this week.
