The public prosecutor of Istanbul has decided to proceed no further with the 17 December corruption operation and the investigation which was conducted into 53 people, including the sons of the Prime Minister and ministers, and employers.

The prosecution investigation was carried out as the result of disputes between the AKP government and the Fethullah Gülen community.
