HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will attend the “Co-Existence Through Democratic Autonomy and Self-Governance: The Kurdish Case" conference his party has organised in the US capital Washington D.C. HDP Co-chair will be meeting with high ranking officials during his visit.

Demirtaş will meet with US Secretary of State John Kerry’s consultant Kristie Kenney. The White House Senior Director for European Affairs Charles Kupchan and his assistant Mark Shapiro will also be meeting with the HDP Co-chair.

HDP Co-chair will attend the “Co-Existence Through Democratic Autonomy and Self-Governance: The Kurdish Case" conference on his 3-day visit to Washington D.C. PYD Co-chair Salih Muslim and representatives from the YPG and Shengal Resistance Units - YBŞ are expected to join the conference via video conference.
