A demonstration was promoted in Frankfurt city of Germany to draw attention to the Kurdish hunger strikes launched against the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The action took place in one of the busiest areas of the city, Hauptwache Square. Activists were protesting the silence of the European institutions. Three people performed the three monkey attitude of the institutions. 

DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chair and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Hakkari MP Leyla Güven was commended and leaflets in Germany expressing solidarity with hunger strikers were handed out.
