Demo against the US decision and isolation of Öcalan in Sydney

The aggravated isolation on Öcalan and the US decision against PKK executives was condemned in Sydney city of Australia.

Kurdish people and their friends are taking to the streets in Kurdistan and all around the world to protest against the aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan by the Turkish state, and the US decision to put a bounty on three senior executives of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Cemil Bayık, Duran Kalkan and Murat Karayılan.

In this scope, the Democratic Kurdish Society Center (DTKM) organized a protest demonstration in Sydney city of Australia.

Speaking at the demonstration at the Hyde Park, a most crowded point in Sydney, DTKM Co-chairperson Brusk Aiveri highlighted that the international conspiracy against Öcalan continues today with policies of isolation, and pointed at the US decision as an evidence of the ongoing conspiracy.

Aiveri stressed that the conspiracy could only be frustrated by uniting around Öcalan.

DKTM Women’s Commission member Mira İbrahimi emphasised that the Committee for the Prevention of Torture is being a party to this crime against humanity by remaining silent on the aggravated isolation on the Kurdish leader.

The demonstration ended with slogans “Murderer Erdoğan” and “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long Live Leader Öcalan).
