Demo for Leyla Güven in Saarbrucken

Kurds took to the streets in Germany.

Kurds and their friends living in Saarbrucken city in Germany organised an action to raise awareness on the critical situation of HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven who is on the threshold on death after 73 days on hunger strike.

Güven is demanding the end of the isolation against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Her hunger strike has prompted other hunger strikes in prisons and Kurdistan, Europe as well as in Canada and Wales.

Kurds gathered in front of the Europa Gallery in the Germany city and expressed their solidarity with Leyla Güven and her demand.
