Demo in Helsinki for women and HDP municipalities

Kurdish people living in Europe continue their protest against the Turkish regime’s never-ending genocidal war and practices in various parts of Kurdistan.

Kurds living in Helsinki, capital of Finland, staged a demonstration in protest at violence against women and the AKP-MHP regime’s seizure of HDP-run municipalities in the Kurdish region of Turkey.

Answering the call of Kurdish Women’s Movement, the demonstrators gathered at the city center to condemn the increasing violence against women amidst the coronavirus emergency and the Turkish state’s repression and attacks against the Kurdish people.

Banners condemning the arrest campaign against HDP and the seizure of Kurdish municipalities by the Turkish state were displayed by the activists who informed the passersby about Turkey’s trustee policy and genocidal attacks in Kurdistan territory.

The demonstration ended with slogans condemning the Turkish state.
