Demo in solidarity with HDP in Argentine

Solidarity with the usurped HDP municipalities continues to grow.

A march in solidarity with HDP was staged in Buenos Aires, capital city of Argentine, in protest at the AKP regime’s seizure of HDP-run municipalities in Diyarbakır, Mardin and Van on August 19.

Promoted by the Women’s Committee for Solidarity with Kurdistan, the march was joined by political parties, democratic mass organizations and human rights activists.

The march ended in front of the Turkish Embassy where speakers on behalf of the groups condemned the attacks against the will of the Kurdish people.

“WE LEARNED MUCH FROM THE KURDISH MOVEMENT”

Speakers also called on the Argentine and the world public opinion to stand in solidarity with the Kurdish people, stressing that the seizure of HDP municipalities by trustees also targeted the Kurdish women’s movement.

Referring to the military coup era in Argentine, speakers said the people of Argentine understand what the Kurds and democrats in Turkey are being through.

The speakers also gave the message “We learned much from the Kurdish Freedom Movement and Kurdish Women’s Freedom Movement”.

Following the march which ended with the slogan “Dictator Erdoğan”, images from the brutal polica crackdown against masses who took to the streets to reclaim the HDP municipalities.
