The AKP-MHP regime seized the HDP-run municipalities of Amed, Van and Mardin on 19 August appointing trustees and dismissing the democratically elected mayors.

The platform of solidarity with the HDP organised a protest in Stuttgart.

The protest was joined by ADHK, AGİF, Alınteri, ATİK, DİDİF, FCK, HDK, SKB, SYKP, Becekli Göktepe Kültür ve Dayanışma Derneği, AABF, BA-WÜ, Dersim İnşaa Kongresi, MLPD, and German left party, Die Linke.

A huge HDP flag opened the cortege and people chanted slogans condemning Erdogan and supporting the HDP.
