Demo in Toronto against Turkey's ecocide in Kurdistan

The ecocidal aggression of the Turkish state in Northern Kurdistan was condemned in Toronto city of Canada, and support was expressed for HDP's Conscience and Justice Vigil.

Kurds and their supporters joined a march staged upon the initiative of Democratic Kurdish Society Center in Toronto against the practices of the Turkish state that has started and fuels wildfires throughout Northern Kurdistan, and the detonation of Hasankeyf's ancient sites with dynamite.

The demonstrators also expressed their support to the political prisoners and Conscience and Justice Vigil of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) held in İzmir.

The protestors gathered at Yonge & Bloore Square and marched from there to Dundas & Yonge Square, chanting "Hands off Dersim", "Murderer Erdoğan", "Fascist Turkey", "Hands off Hasankeyf, Protect Hasankeyf" and "Our representatives are our honor".

The demonstration ended with a press statement.
