Democratic Society Center in Nantes burned in arson attack

The Engin Sincer Democratic Society Center in Nantes city of France has been burned in arson attack.

Fire erupted at the Engin Sincer Democratic Society Center (DTM) in the French city of Nantes late last night. According to initial findings by the fire department, the fire was caused by an arson attack.

Kurds living in Nantes and surrounding cities rushed to the Democratic Society Center on hearing about the incident. After gathering here, the mass staged a march, covering some 5 kilometers, and protested the AKP terror.

Engin Sincer DTM Spokesperson Rıza Toker said they were very familiar with the AKP terror, stating the followings; “We know the AKP terror from the massacres in North Kurdistan. We are strong enough to answer those who terrorise in Europe under the name of Ottoman Hearths. We will re-open our association to the service of the people in the shortest time possible.”

Speakers on behalf of the French Communist Party voiced solidarity with the Kurdish people in response to the attack.
