'Democratic Turkey' conference in Berlin

Different groups, artists, academics and politicians are organizing a conference in Berlin on 21 and 22 September.

The Social Contract Quest for a Democratic Turkey Conference has been organised with the call "Come, from now on we will talk about the Turkey we want to live in together".

Organisers are inviting everyone to join the two-days meeting to talk about social peace, equal, fair and free country.

The conference program at the Mercure Hotel is as follows:

Saturday 21 September

09.00-09.15 Opening: Kurdish, Turkish

09.15-11.00 Subject: Perspective of Social Contract 
Moderator: Engin Sustam (Peace Academic)

Speakers: Can Dündar, Latife Akyüz, Prof. Ahmet İnsel, Hatip Dicle, Prof. Eser Karakaş, Berivan Aslan, Ergun Babahan, Gökay Akbulut, Turgut Öker.

14.30-20.00 Working Groups - Working groups will be held on the basis of pre-determined topics and each group will be managed by three people. (The Secretariat will submit a proposal to the conference)
