The information desk was set up at the Luisenplatz Square in the city centre, where fliers and leaflets about the isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader were distributed and information was placed at the disposal of visitors. During the protest event Europe's public was called upon to act mindfully and responsibly towards the issue of Öcalan's freedom.

Following the protest event, a delegation of the protesters will be visiting today some German institutions and hand over to them their file. On 12 August a rally will be held in the city centre.
