Demonstration in Strasbourg against Turkish attacks on Kurdistan

Protests against Turkey’s attacks on Kurdistan continue in Europe despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

Activists from the Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) staged a demonstration in the French city of Strasbourg. The group protested against the Turkish state's attacks on Maxmur and Zinî Wertê areas in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

The Kurdish activists displayed images of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and flags of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The group marched through the streets of Strasbourg, chanting “Murderer Erdoğan” and “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long Live Leader Öcalan).
