DORTMUND
Upon the initiative of the Kurdish youth organisations Jinên Ciwanên Azad (Free Young Women) and Ciwanên Azad (Free Youths) in German city Dortmund, a demonstration was held in front of the central station with the motto "Free Leader Apo", after the German police didn't grant permission for a march.
Speeches were held by Yüksel Koç on behalf of European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E), members of Ciwanên Azad and Movement of Free Êzidî Women (TAJÊ), condemning the aggravated isolation on the Kurdish leader.
The meeting ended with slogans in favor of freedom for Öcalan.
DARMSTADT
A march was also staged in German city Darmstadt, where a speech was held by Democratic Kurdish Societies' Center (NAV-DEM) Co-chair Merdan Kaçmaz who stated, "The Turkish state that imposes an aggravated isolation on Öcalan, shall know that we will struggle for our leader Apo anywhere in the world."
The participants chanted through the march slogans such as "Dictator Erdoğan", "Either Freedom or Freedom", and "Long Live Leader Apo", and youths distributed leaflets informing of the aggravated isolation on Öcalan.
