The enemies of humanity, the ISIS gangs swept on the 3rd of August 2014 murdering and pillaging over the city Shengal, the holy site of the Êzidî community. Slaughtering thousands of Êzidîs indiscriminately and causing hundreds of thousands to flee for their lives, those gangs abducted more than 5 thousand girls and women whom they later sold as slaves at markets. Hundreds of women and girls are still under ISIS captivity. This massive attack, that was named a 'genocide' by the United Nations, is also regarded to be what is called a 'genocide of women'.
FRENCH WOMEN’S ORGANISATIONS SHOW THEIR SUPPORT
On the occasion of the anniversary of the genocide, the Êzidî Women's Freedom Movement (TAJE) prepared fliers and leaflets, which carry the stamps of several women's organisations of France. The organisations that endorsed the leaflet campaign are as follows: Free Woman Organisation, Socialist Women Union, Courage Women’s Organisation, Association France Kurdistan, Association Femmes Tamouls-Tamil Women Association, Collectif Feministe Kobane, Mouvement des Amazigs (Amazigh Movement), Les Juristes Armeniens (Armenian lawyer Union), Conseils des Organisations Armeniens de France (Armenian Council Organisation in France).

TJK-F: LET US MAKE THIS CRY HEARD
The written statement issued by the Kurdish Women's Movement in France (TJK-F) reminded of the ongoing tragedy of the Êzidî people and the Êzidî women in particular even three years after the genocide, and called for mass participation in the protest events.
At the end of the statement it was said: "The impact of the genocide on Shengal is still vivid. The physical massacres threatening the Êzidîs in Shengal is still continuing, and the Êzidî children and women are still being sold and traded at the ISIS markets. The women who have been enslaved by ISIS, symbolize all women in this world. Their enslavement is our all enslavement. Slaughtering them is slaughtering us. Come, let us make this cry heard."
