Kurds living in different parts of Europe took to the streets on Saturday to protest against the agreement signed between the Iraqi government and the KDP. It is an agreement threatening a new invasion of Shengal and a new the massacre of the Yazidi people.
Stockholm
In Stockholm Kurds carried out an action to protest the deployment of thousands of soldiers to Shengal following the agreement signed between the governments of Iraq and Hewler. Activists stood in solidarity with the Shengal people.
The action was organised by Stockholm Kurdish Democratic Center, Amara Women's Council and Sara Women's Union.
South Iranian Aliye Rahimi said they would never accept Shengal's occupation by the Turkish state.
Saying that the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Iraqi and Turkish governments have reached a consensus for the invasion of Shengal, Rahimi said: "The PKK, YPG / YPJ forces and the people of Shengali defeated ISIS mercenaries. The people of Shengal established a democratic system. We will not allow any new attempt to enslave the Shengal people."
Amir Babakri, a member of the Swedish Committee of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), stated that the Yazidi people are the people who suffered the most from the genocide and massacres committed by ISIS mercenaries and commended the fact that the Yazidis in Shengal created their own administrations and institutions.

Kurds and their friends gathered at Claraplatz square to join the action promoted by the Democratic Union of Forces.
Ali Matur made a speech here on behalf of the Kurdish Community Center. Matur said that they will continue to take the streets and protest the agreement made on Shengal.
Geneva
Kurdish activists gathered in the city of Geneva in front of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and protested the Shengal agreement. Salih Sağlam made a speech on behalf of the Kurdish Community Center.
Zurich
Kurds gathered in the city of Zurich and rallied in Rathausbrücke square against the Shengal agreement.
GERMANY
Kiel
The Kiel Kurdish Association promoted an action to condemn the agreement in Shengal. Kiel Jiyane Jin, Socialist Women's Union, AGIF, Rojave Initiative supported the action.
The speeches made at the end of the actions reminded that the KDP abandoned the Yazidi people in 2014 where ISIS occupied their lands.
FRANCE
Lorient
Kurds and French people joined the action organised in Lorient.
The crowd, which came together at Place Aristide-Briand square marched towards the city center. The CDK-F had prepared leaflets to protest and draw attention to the attacks on Shengal.
DENMARK
Copenaghen
The agreement on Shengal was also protested in Copenhagen where activists joined the action organised by the Seve Women's Council and the Feykurd administration.
