Sara Women's Union and Kurdish organisations and associations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland released a joint statement on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the genocide of 3 August 2014 on the Êzidî community, which was stopped by the exceptional intervention of YPG and HPG forces, and stressed that people shall be aware that around 3000 Êzidî women are still in the hands of ISIS.
The call was made in a joint statement, that all the people of Kurdistan and their friends shall join the march in white garments to condemn the genocide of the Êzidîs and raise voice for the liberation of the remaining captive Êzidî women.
Support was also expressed for the Vigil of 'Conscience and Justice' launched by representatives of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Northern Kurdistan and Turkey.
