Detention period extended for HDP members in custody for 17 days
The detention period of HDP members, who had been detained during the raids that were carried out after the bombing in Beşiktaş on December 10, has been extended for one more week.
The HDP members, who had been detained during the raids that were carried out after the bombing targeting riot police in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, are still being held at Istanbul Police Headquarters.
The HDP members have been in custody for 17 days and their detention period has been extended for another week.
HDP Provincial Co-chairs Aysel Güzel and Doğan Erbaş are among the detainees. Güzel had been detained during a house raid and Erbaş was detained in front of the party office. Police officers had pillaged the party building and written racist graffiti during their raid.
