The Central Executive Committee of DKP / BÖG (Revolutionary Communard Party/United Freedom Forces) made a statement on the occasion of the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan that led to his deportation from Kenya to Turkey in 1999.

The statement said, "On February 15, 1999, Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was taken hostage by an international conspiracy led by NATO. This conspiracy was an international purge campaign applied by the imperialist powers, especially the United States, against the Kurdish people and their political will. The struggle for freedom that inspired all the peoples of the region was wanted to be subdued.”

'THE GLORIOUS RESISTANCE WILL BRING DOWN THE GOVERNMENT’

The statement by DKP/BÖG further includes the following:

"Within the scope of the 'Collapse Plan', the fascist government has extended the isolation on the Kurdish People's Leader in the last 6 years and expanded the policy of annihilation and genocide against the guerrilla movement and the Kurdish people. As a result of the glorious resistance, the annihilation and genocide policy of the colonial powers, especially isolation, pushed the regime into internal crises. Colonialism has lost in Bakur, Heftanin, Rojava and finally in Gare."

'IF THE KURDISH PEOPLE'S LEADER BECOMES FREE, THE HEGEMONS WILL LOSE'

"The isolation executed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan has also sought to isolate the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people in Turkey and the region. While this plan of colonialism has been shattered by the united revolutionary struggle in the body of HBDH and the internationalist unity and victory in Rojava, the colonialism and its gangs have ended up isolated themselves.

The liberation of the PKK leader will also negate the schemes played by the fascist government and the international imperialist powers against the working peoples in the region.

DKP / BÖG declares that the collapse of fascism and of the exploitation of the working class in Turkey can be realized by fighting in the front lines. This basically means that the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's freedom and the freedom of the peoples and the working class of Turkey are connected.

On this basis, the historical significance of the resistance of the Kurdistan freedom guerrilla is once again revealed. Today, the freedom guerrilla is the representative of the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom against fascism and the occupiers in four parts of Kurdistan. The guerrilla's military presence and struggle is the guarantee of the Kurdish people's struggle for freedom in the Middle East. The colonialists targeted by the freedom guerrillas represent the capitalist state of the bourgeoisie which subjects the working class to exploitation.

Today, the power of freedom takes action against the same enemy, the male state, especially with our comrades who continue their hunger strike resistance in Turkey’s prisons, Boğaziçi students, the factories, Amed and the women's liberation struggle everywhere. With their actions, united revolutionary forces target the walls of isolation and fascism.

2021 will be the last year of the conspiracy and the colonialist fascist state will collapse."
