The documentary ‘Öcalan and the Kurdish Question' by South American filmmaker Luis Miranda was shown in Strasbourg as part of the activities organized for the anniversary of the Freedom for Öcalan Vigil.
The activities organized by the Öcalan Freedom Initiative to mark the 7th anniversary of the Freedom for Öcalan Vigil in front of the Council of Europe continue in Strasbourg.
As part of the activities, filmmaker Luis Miranda presented his documentary called titled ’Öcalan and the Kurdish Question'.
Over hundred people, Kurds and French, assisted at the screening at the Cinéma Star.
The screening was organised by the Women's Association of Strasbourg and the Center for Democratic Kurdish Community, and the audience could enjoy a talk with filmmaker Luis Miranda.
The film screening was part of the initiatives to mark the anniversary of the Freedom for Öcalan Vigil which also included a panel and an exhibition.
Today in Strasbourg city center Kurdish organisations in Europe have promoted a march and rally.
