DÖKH women go to the border

A group of women from Amed, led by Democratic Free Women's Movement (Demokratik Özgür Kadın Hareketi - DÖKH), have left for Hakkari where they will put up a Democratic Liberation and Solution tent to monitor the withdrawal of HPG (People's Defense Forces) guerrillas across the border.

Women have recently put up tents in Dersim, Şırnak and Hakkari to follow the ongoing process of withdrawal of Kurdish guerrillas. The women joining the vigil in tents say they will intervene in the process in the event of any probable attacks or operations targeting the guerrillas. They are also informing the public about the process which they want to be finalized without any accidents and deaths.
