Fighters of the 'Wrath of Euphrates Action Room' started the second stage in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates' on December 10 with the goal of liberating the Raqqa city from ISIS occupation by advancing from two directions. Fighters continue making advances as part of the plan they had prepared for the major military campaign.
Acting with utmost attention to make sure that civilians do not get hurt during the operation, fighters affiliated to the 'Wrath of Euphrates Action Room', led by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) under the leadership of People's Defense Units (YPG), have liberated 27 villages, dozens of hamlets and many strategic hills during the first 7 days of the operation so far.
At least 54 ISIS members were killed in clashes and airstrikes and 5 others were taken captive. The civilians in areas liberated during the operation are welcoming SDF combatants with love and appreciation.
Professional units from SDF are clearing the mines and traps in liberated villages, hamlets and hills; after which locals are helped return home in a safe and quick manner.
On the other hand, the villages of Borsincar Şemali, Borsincar Cenubî, Sehba, Ebu Galat and Hacî Sileman were liberated from ISIS occupation as part of the second stage of the operation yesterday.
ANF cameras recorded the civilians from Raqqa who were freed from ISIS occupation in the areas liberated by 'Wrath of Euphrates Action Room' fighters.
