Dozens of civilians killed in Aleppo

44 civilians, including 6 children, were killed by regime helicopters dropping barrel bombs on Aleppo city, the area between Masaken Hanano and al-Ahmadiya, and the Haydariya roundabout, reported Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Trusted sources informed the SOHR that the helicopters renewed dropping TNT barrels on the areas when the medical teams and ambulances headed to the area, causing the death of two members of the medical team and a yet to be counted number of the medical team and residents. The number of dead is likely to rise because of the tens of badly injured and missing.

Volunteers from the Red Crescent brought in food to the Aleppo Central Prison, they took out 7 prisoners who's terms have finished. SOHR activists reported that the Red Crescent vehicle was shot at by unknown group when it was heading to the prison. Rebels launched several mortars into the Midan neighbourhood of Aleppo, targeting regime positions, no reports of losses. Rebels also fired locally made rockets into the towns of Nubul and Zahra, which are inhabited by Muslim Shi'a; no reports of losses.

Violent clashes between the YPG (People's Defense Units) and ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham) in the village of Qasemi, west of Kobani city (Ein al-Arab), reports that the YPG detained at least 1 ISIS combatant. A woman was killed by the clashes taking place in the village, Kurdish activists report that the ISIS kidnapped the son of the killed woman.
