Democratic Society Congress (DTK) has released a statement to mark the World Peace Day.
The Congress remarked that the democratic resolution process currently faced the risk of deadlock because of the government's failure to take the steps since the beginning of the process on 21 March upon the call by Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.
DTK called on the Turkish public opinion and all circles siding with peace and democracy to enhance their struggle in order not to waste this historic chance for peace.
DTK also called on Kurdish people to display solidarity with the Rojava resistance, remarking that the fate of Rojava would be determined by Kurds in four parts of Kurdistan.
The Congress pointed out that the Kurdish people will be taking to the streets today, joining the major rallies in Amed, Van, Istanbul and Mersin, to voice their demands for a democratic and peaceful solution to the Kurdish question and to display solidarity with the Kurdish resistance in Rojava.
