East Kurdistan Defense Forces (Hezên Rojhilatê Kurdistanê-HRK) have carried out an attack targeting the Spay Pasdaran unit positioned in the rural areas of the Mako city in east Kurdistan.

Spay Pasdaran Mako spokesperson said in a statement that a member of theirs was killed and two others were wounded in clashes that broke out after the attack.

Local sources have on the other hand reported that ten people were killed in the clashes.

After  PJAK member Habibullah Gulperipur in Umraniye jail and Kurdish political prisoner Rıza İsmail Mamedi in Salmas jail were hanged on 26 October, PJAK (Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan) said in a written statement that Iran jeopardized the ceasefire which has been in effect since 2011, and warned that the execution of Kurdish political prisoners will not go unreciprocated.
