Turkish soldiers have raided a number of houses in the villages of Pirömer (Pilomer), Gökoğlu (Qubîk) and Dedeli in Patnos district of Ağrı early Tuesday morning.

The operation was carried out by large numbers of soldiers, gendarme and special operation teams who entered the houses without any warning, breaking the doors as the raids began, and turning the houses upside down.

Three people and four minors, aged between 15 and 17, were taken into custody in the operation and taken to the Patnos district police headquarters.

The number of detainees in expected to increase.
