Eight people have been remanded in custody in the western province of Bursa on Saturday.

Fourteen people had been taken into custody on Thursday as a result of a so-called DHKP-C operation which targeted a number of houses in the districts of Yıldırım, Osmangazi and Nilüfer.

Four among them were released after bearing testimony to a prosecutor yesterday. Ten were referred to court, among whom two were released and eight remanded in custody for joining Gezi Park protests in Istanbul and Bursa.
