Eight people released in Batman KCK trial
Eight out of thirty two defendants in Batman have been released yesterday. Among them was BDP Batman chair Şeymus Azboy. The politicians are tried as part of the wider KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) trial and were able to give their testimonies in Kurdish as the court provided Kurdish interpreters.
The next hearing has been set for 22 July.
The eight defendant released were: Bedri Can, Ekrem Değirmenci, Mehmet Söner, Hacire Çetin, Mehmet Şehit İnan, Hasan Aydın, Şeyhmus Arslan, Zeynep Tuluk Timur.
