Erdoğan’s new puppet is Binali Yıldırım

Binali Yıldırım has been nominated as the only candidate to replace the recently removed Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

AKP Central Executive Committee met today to announce the candidate for the new party leader and Prime Minister. AKP Deputy President and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik spoke after the meeting and announced that the Minister of Transportation Binalı Yıldırım was appointed as the candidate for new party president after the recent removal of former President Ahmet Davutoğlu from his post.

Yıldırım is nominated as the only candidate to be the president of the party, who will be elected during the party’s upcoming 2nd Extraordinary Congress.

Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdoğan, who had recently removed former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu from his post, appointed the new candidate.
