An explosion has occurred at the construction area of a military post in Hakkari's Şemdinli district on Thursday.

Explosives placed in the military post in the village of Yeşilova on south Kurdistan border, 70 km from Şemdinli, were detonated late last night.

The explosion at the military post which has been under construction since last year has reportedly damaged the construction area and materials.
