An explosion occurred during the passage of a riot police vehicle in the Hayvan Bazaar, on the Amed and Mêrdîn road.

According to the statement released by Turkish state officials, 9 police officers were injured as a result of the explosion.

Ambulance and police were dispatched to the place where the explosion occurred. It was stated that two people were detained in connection with the incident.
