An explosion occurred in the city of Kobani near the building housing Heyva Sor (the Kurdish Red Crescent). The bomb caused the death of 8 civilians and wounded at least 23.

According to information received the explosion happened at 4.10pm, local time. The bomb exploded in an area housing both the Kurdish Red Crescent and the Human Rights Association. Among the dead are some children as well.
