Explosion kills 2, injures 11 in Khanaqin
Two people died and 11 were wounded as result of an explosion in Khanaqin.
An explosion occurred during the events marking the 40th anniversary of the murder of Imam Hussein in Khanaqin city in Diyala Governorate Tuesday afternoon.
The explosion, which occurred at a location close to Bawe Mehmud Cemetery, left 2 people dead and 11 others wounded.
After security forces detected another bomb close to the scene, bomb squads have gone into action.
